Born one of five girls to an OBGYN, Drea has always possessed a keen eye for women's healthcare. After completely her undergraduate degree at The University of Texas at Austin, Drea went on to complete her masters studies at Yale University. This 9/11 first responder graduated top of her class publishing her thesis "Osteoporosis Prevention Starts in Adolescence" in the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Journal. After having worked GYN Oncology, Women's Health primary care, dermatology and In Vitro Fertilization in New York City, Drea and her family moved to Santa Barbara. While raising her two young children, Drea pursued her athletic career winning the Inaugural Santa Barbara International Marathon. Drea has been a prominent force in local and national sporting events; however, she has returned to her professional roots to work alongside Dr. Ralph Quijano. Drea is thankful she can balance her professional career with raising her children.

Andrea is a Former Elite/ Competitive Athlete. Some of her winning accomplishments include;  

  • Winner Winner inaugural Santa Barbara International Marathon

  • Local Santa Barbara Record Holder SBAA club

  • Yale Bulldog Cycling team 12th in Nationals Road Race

  • Elliptigo Mt. Evans & Pike’s Peak Female Record Holder. Silver Medalist at Elliptigo World Champs

  • 3 Time Gibraltar Road Cycling Female TT Winner.

  • Mamathon Grand Fondo 2 x Female Road Cycling TT Record Holder

  • Competitor 4x National XC Championships Women’s Open

Andrea is a mother of 2 kids, and was on the cover of Wall Street Journal, Lifestyle section “The Fit Mom”. She enjoys sailing, trail running, kayaking, mountain biking, road & gravel bike, backpacking, skiing, cross country skiing, mountain climbing, and rock climbing.
